UEFA Champions League quarter-finals draw

The draw for the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals was completed in Switzerland on Friday with Liverpool facing Manchester City, Juventus meeting Real Madrid, Sevilla taking on Bayern Munich and Barcelona playing Roma. 

Liverpool cruised into the final eight with a comprehensive 5-0 demolition of Porto, while their opponents City swept past Basel 5-2. The two teams will meet at Anfield in the first leg before the return at the Etihad Stadium.

Meanwhile, Juventus advanced to this stage of the competition with a thrilling 4-3 aggregate victory over Tottenham Hotspur. Real Madrid cruised to the next round with a relatively routine 5-2 win over a below-par Paris Saint-Germain. 

The Italians will be at home in the first leg, before the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu. In the third quarter-final first leg, Sevilla play at home to Bayern Munich, with the Spaniards beating Manchester United 2-1 in the last-16. 

The Bavarians also cruised into the quarters as they demolished Besiktas 8-1. In addition, the fourth quarter-final will see Barcelona taking on Roma at home. Blaugrana beat Chelsea while their opponents Roma defeated Shakhtar Donetsk.

The quarter-final first legs are set to take place in the week of April 3/4, with the return fixtures scheduled for April 10/11.
